Ann Siang House Is A New Boutique Hotel At Telok Ayer With Vintage Shophouse Vibes And Nightlife Right At Its Doorstep

The newest boutique hotel for staycations

Ann Siang House3
There’s no denying that we can’t get enough of staycations – it’s a much-need respite from our everyday routine, and the best ones are usually at hotels with a gorgeous interior, excellent room service, and fun things to do within walking distance.
Recently opened in March, Ann Siang House is the latest boutique hotel that covers all the necessary bases. At just a 6-minute walk away from Telok Ayer MRT station, it’s conveniently nestled in the middle of cafes, pubs, karaoke bars, and even popular supper spots like Lau Pa Sat.
Plus, with it being a restored shophouse-turned-hotel, there’s a wonderfully grand and nostalgic charm that both the lobby and rooms exude.

Old and new charms to expect from Ann Siang House

Steeped in rich, brown hues and furnished with solid wood, leather couches, and gold fixtures, Ann Siang House’s lobby is grand yet cosy.

It’s also where a pop-up cafe will be at during their launch period, which is currently run by the same people behind Upside Down Coffee Alternatives. Known as Cult Brewers, it specialises in medium blends that are balanced and smooth-tasting, which you can enjoy even if you aren’t a coffee aficionado!

Give the Dirty Harry ($9) a shot when you’re there – it’s an in-house creation that uses chocolate and black matcha powder.
By night, the cafe will transform into The Guild, a bar by Young Master Brewery, who kick-started the craft-brewing scene in Hong Kong. Keep your eyes peeled for craft-brewing workshops when you’re there!
