ION Orchard’s latest Hawkers’ Street series brings together six carefully-selected famed hawkers, including Michelin-accredited brands under one roof. Housed within Basement 4 of the mall, the offerings of ION Orchard Hawkers’ Street is currently available for islandwide delivery via GrabFood, FoodPanda, and Deliveroo, and features the following brands –

King of Fried Rice

Specialising in everything from homemade fried rice to the ever-popular Din Tai Fung egg pork chop fried rice and standard Tom Yum fried rice, King of Fried Rice is a stall hidden in the basement of Golden Mile Tower. Specialising in Egg Fried Rice, Mala Fried Rice, Tom Yum Fried Rice and X.O Fried Rice, this stall is revered for its affordable prices which start from $4 a plate and range up to $6.80 for larger portions.

Ann Chin Popiah

This eatery, which has been honoured in the Singapore Michelin Guide with a “Michelin Plate” award, is best known for its signature popiah packed with ingredients including eggs, shrimp, carrot, and peanuts, which provides a rich and varied taste.

Nam Sing Hokkien Mee

Serving stir-fried noodles since the 1960s, Nam Sing Hokkien Mee is based within the Old Airport Road Food Centre and is revered for its yellow noodles and thick bee hoon dishes, alongside its affordable price range which starts at a mere $5 and peaks at $8.

Beach Road Scissors-Cut Curry Rice

Regarded the late-night go-to for most Beach Road residents, this eatery opens till 3:30am daily, and specialises in a variety of scrumptious curry rice dishes worth a mere $3.40. Best known for its special sauce mixture which consists of four different sauces including, chilli sauce, chilli oil, braised gravy, and curry, this stall prides itself in using simplistic methods to create a range of delicious offerings.

Jian Bo Shui Kueh

Using only the finest ingredients handpicked and checked for quality, Jian Bo Shui Kueh’s steamed rice cakes, chye poh (preserved radish) and chilli are freshly prepared in their central kitchen every morning, leaving them to chill in the afternoon before they are delivered to all outlets across the island each night. Serving the age-old flavour generations after generations since 1958, this stall is best known for its superstar Chee Cheong Fun, Rice Kueh, Soon Kueh, and Ku Chai Kueh.
