2-STOREY PIERRE HERMÉ OPENS IN SINGAPORE WITH FIRST-EVER BUBBLE TEA DRINKS, ICE CREAM BAR & TOAST-SHAPED DESSERTS!

Fans of Pierre Hermé’s macarons and desserts won’t have to wait much longer: the highly-anticipated flagship opening at Sentosa’s WEAVE mall is finally happening on 1st August 2025. Here’s your first look at the space and their offerings ahead of the opening.

This 2-storey opening marks the macacon-specialty brand’s first-ever Southeast Asian flagship store—the largest in the world—encompassing a chocolate boutique space, full-service restaurant, ice cream bar and more. There are a couple of world-firsts to look forward to at this Singapore outpost: including new local-inspired bubble tea drinks, an ice cream bar with 12 flavours, a Singapore-exclusive pastry and Furoshiki stand.

We were most excited to try the new Pierre Hermé Bubble Tea drink series, with tapioca pearls and fruit-infused spheres all made in-house. There are 3 different bubble tea flavours ($9) available: Ispahan, Jardin de Pierre and Matcha Cappucino. For the Matcha Cappuccino flavour, don’t expect a matcha flavour that’s super intense, as this drink is definitely more milk-forward. Unfortunately the homemade pearls lacked that iconic chewiness that we love, but we hope they’ll be improving the recipe in near future.

Desserts and pastries are all displayed beautifully front and center in glass displays, starting from $3.50 each. We’re also told that prices here are actually slightly more affordable compared to other overseas Piere Hermé outlets around the world. They’ve got various viennoiseries, pastries and handcrafted cakes on display, including a whimsical “Trick The Eye” Pastry ($9) that’s created just for Singapore. This playful toast-shaped treat that features a peanut butter tartine with layers of caramel, inspired by the iconic Singaporean tradition of throwing peanut shells on the floor at Raffles Hotel. Definitely go for their fan-favourite Ispahan desserts when you’re here, with that iconic lychee-rose flavour that really comes through with each bite.

At the ice cream bar, look forward to 12 different flavours, with more flavours to be added to the selection in the near future. Scoops start from $6 each, and you can get them in a cup or cone; with cones freshly made-to-order each time. Flavours you can expect include: Sorbet Ispahan, Montebello, Infiniment Vanille, Chado and more.

Of course, we can’t miss out on talking about Pierre Hermé’s iconic macarons. The store boasts a plethora of macaron flavours in nearly every colour of the rainbow, plus some Singapore-exclusive flavours too. Macarons are priced at $4 each, or you can get them in various box sets of 4, 8, 12, 18, 20, 24 or 40 pieces. There will always be 18 macaron flavours available in-store, with 10 permanent flavours and 8 seasonal flavours. Some notable flavours include the likes of Praliné Pistache, Infiniment Vanille de Madagascar, Ispahan, Fruit de la Passion and Plaisir Sucré, among others.

They don’t just have desserts here, the store also houses a full-fledged restaurant on the second floor, Table by Pierre Hermé, where you can feast on classic French-inspired dishes all day long. There’s an indoor dine-in area and a small outdoor area too. Savoury menu items from the restaurant start from $6, with all-day options like Ispahan Sea Bream Ceviche ($18), Shrimp Caesar Salad ($20), Roasted Cauliflower ($18), Croque-Monsieur Pierre Hermé Paris ($21) and more.

Take home some of Pierre Hermé’s treats like jams, chocolate pralines, spreads and more from the retail section and chocolate bar. You can even have them beautifully gift-wrapped at the Furoshiki stand, where items are wrapped in gorgeous reusable fabric wraps (from $8 each). Pierre Hermé Singapore officially opens its doors to the public on 1st August 2025.
