After the tremendous success of their month-long pop-up in Jurong Point last July, the famed Mister Donut will finally be opening its very first real outlet in Singapore this coming May 2023! The upcoming outlet will mark the American donut chain’s very first permanent outpost here in Singapore, and will be set to open in central Singapore at Bishan’s Junction 8.
For the uninitiated, Mister Donut is an American-born donut chain, but gained major popularity in Osaka, Japan, especially for their signature Pon De Ring donuts. Mister Donut has seen massive demand for their treats back when they held a test pop-up at Jurong Point, which saw snaking hours-long queues of people hankering to get a taste of the iconic donuts. And thanks to the huge demand, the brand has finally been brought into Singapore by local F&B company RE&S: home to other familiar brands like Ichiban Boshi, Kuriya Dining, Sushi-Go, Gokoku and more.
Fans of Mister Donut can be assured of the quality of the donuts at Singapore’s branch, as ingredients will be imported directly from Japan to ensure consistency. As for flavours and prices of the donuts, there’s no news yet; but if we were to take a guess, prices and offerings should be similar to when they had their Jurong Point pop-up store. Expect donuts to be priced upwards from $2 for a single donut, $13.50 for a box of 6 or $22 for a box of 10. The exact location of the store at Junction 8 is also to be confirmed.
