If you’ve been to a mall recently and spotted a tiny Tesla zipping past, you’re not imagining things.

Across several malls in Singapore, a new family-friendly activation is turning everyday shopping trips into something a little more unexpected — complete with mini electric cars, interactive missions, and a light introduction to sustainable living.



At the centre of it is the ‘Tesla Junior Driving School’, where kids can get behind the wheel of miniature Teslas and take on a mini race track set up right in the mall atrium.
Beyond the novelty, it doubles as a quick intro to how electric vehicles can mean cleaner air — wrapped in an experience that still feels like pure fun for young drivers.


But the experience doesn’t stop at the track.

There’s also the Mandai X Ranger Buddies Mission — a gamified phygital experience following Pedro the sea lion, where children move through different stations solving puzzles and completing challenges. The activities focus on everyday habits like recycling and reducing plastic use, reimagined as interactive, game-like challenges.




Completing the maze unlocks a small reward: a mission badge that kids can take home. Finish all missions at each participating mall to receive a unique finisher badge, available while stocks last.

Access to both the phygital experience and mini driving activity requires a minimum spend of $30 in a single same-day receipt at participating malls. For the Mandai X Ranger Buddies Mission, FRx members will receive a gamification code to participate. For the Tesla mini drive, FRx members can simply present their receipts at the event space to verify their transaction and redeem the experience. Terms and conditions apply.
Shoppers can also redeem a limited-edition reusable tote (min. spend $120 across up to three same-day, same-mall receipts), designed with local creative studio Tell Your Children (TYC). The trendy design is released in two colourways — white from 16 March to 5 April, and green from 6 April to 3 May.

The campaign runs from 16 March to 3 May 2026, while the event activations and installations will take place from 16 March to 26 April 2026. These installations will rotate across multiple malls islandwide, including Causeway Point, Northpoint City, Waterway Point and Tiong Bahru Plaza. Each location hosts the experience for a limited period, with specific dates and details outlined in the table below.

Beyond the installations, shoppers can also take part in other sustainability-driven initiatives throughout the campaign, including the TWOOAK x Plastify Lucky Draw, The Green Haul featuring eco-friendly deals and promotions, as well as a Back-to-School Support Programme in partnership with The Food Bank Singapore.
