A Different Kind Of Pokémon Day Gathering
This year’s Pokémon Day won’t just be happening on screens or trading tables — it’s taking to the streets.

On 27 February 2026, six customised Pokémon-themed cars will be making an appearance at McDonald’s Kallang Stadium from 6pm onwards, transforming the familiar fast-food carpark into an informal gathering point for fans of the long-running Pokémon universe.

Among them is a vehicle many local fans may already recognise — the Pikachu Truck, a mobile card shop on wheels that has previously surfaced at community meetups and collector events around Singapore.
Here’s how the night is expected to unfold:
4pm onwards
Cars begin arriving at the Kallang Stadium McDonald’s
6pm
Line-up and road management setup
7pm
Media and public arrivals
7pm – 9pm
Open photo-taking sessions, alongside plushie and booster box giveaways
9pm

10pm

The gathering is open to the public, with no entry fee required — making it less of a ticketed event and more of a spontaneous community moment for collectors, casual fans, and the simply curious.
