Photobooth lovers are no stranger to Solace Studios, and they’ve just opened a brand new retro and vintage-inspired outlet at The Cathay, with 9 unique themed rooms, including brand new concepts.
One of the most interesting rooms has got to be the Solace Express: an Orient Express-inspired concept that looks like you just stepped into a luxurious European-style train cabin straight from the 1950s. There’s even windows where you can gaze out and enjoy the “moving” scenery. There’s also a Vintage Lift that’s complete with a manual metal gate and rich wood interiors. Other rooms include a retro-style vinyl listening room, classic living room and also the fan-favourite vintage-style launderette concept.
Some of the unique photo prints you can get here include a one-of-a-kind flipbook ($15 each) where you get to snap 21 photos and DIY your own photobook keepsake; and even a vintage-style newspaper ($12 for 2 sheets) printed on actual kraft paper. Other concepts at this outlet are priced at $10 per session, for 2 photo strips.

Like all of Solace Studios’ other outlets, you’ll also have unlimited access to their vanity area with Dyson styling tools; as well as other new vintage-themed props exclusive to this outlet. Some of the props available here include brown “leather” suitcases, rattan baskets, vinyl records, glasses, crochet hair pieces, hats and more.
