This Zen-inspired dwelling just off of Stevens Road has a “river” running through! Set in two blocks, a shallow reflective pool runs down the middle, forming the center of the home’s visual aesthetics while also maintaining the environment’s temperature by drawing hot air upwards.

Designed by ONG&ONG, the two blocks of the house each have different textures, with one side done up in granite and the other in fair-faced concrete. One half of the house holds the living and dining spaces, while the other is dedicated to service areas such as the kitchen.

The 924 square feet house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and was built in 2013. With simple decorations on the interior, the house uses a cleverly curated collection of natural elements to create a peaceful ambiance.
