Jewellery for tea? SKAI at Swissôtel The Stamford’s has just launched their new limited-edition high tea set inspired by jewels and gemstones, in collaboration with Swarovski! The new Swarovski-themed High Tea features delicate treats that are shaped like jewels, and let’s not forget the stunning panoramic views that it comes with!
SKAI is perched atop the 70th floor of the hotel, and if you manage to snag a table by the window, you get to enjoy your high tea with a gorgeous birds-eye view of the city. The Swarovski-themed High Tea ($68++ per person) comes with handcrafted sweets and savouries, along with your choice of a mocktail and TWG tea or gourmet Suzuki coffee. You can also make it a boozy high tea affair with a cocktail instead (+$10), topped with an edible fondant in the shape of the iconic Swarovski logo.
The high tea itself offers premium ingredients like king crab, blue fin tuna and caviar, just to name a couple. Standouts from the high tea selection include the Hazelnut Praline Yuzu Vanilla Swan Choux that’s elegantly shaped like a white swan; and the Golden Raspberry Pink Rose Mascarpone Octagon Sable that’s topped with a pink “jewel” made from jelly.
Other items in the set include Mortadella, Scottish Salmon Rilette Kueh Pie Tee, King Crab, Blue Fin Tuna, Coronation Smoked Chicken, Brie Cheese Quiche and more. Aside from the items included on the stand, the staff will also come around with a separate dessert cart to serve you additional cakes straight to your table! These include the SKAI Chocolate Entremet and Yuzu Blackberry Vanilla Tea Cake with Rosemary Chantilly Cream.
