XHS and TikTok is a treasure trove of trendy desserts, and the latest one that’s been making its rounds on socials is a handmade fruit and cream cheese-stuffed mochi treat, and you can finally try it out in Singapore too.
Moochi Handmade is a new food stall that’s just popped up in Singapore, offering the viral fruit-stuffed cream cheese mochi desserts from $5, and each one is freshly handmade on the spot. There’s a couple options you could go for, and you can even mix & match different flavours to your liking: from fresh fruit, cream cheese, savoury chicken floss, taro, purple rice and more. Some of the more popular filling options are the classic cream cheese, with fresh fruits like Shine muscat grapes, strawberries or even a whole chunk of mango.
The mochi is freshly made daily, and hand-stretched to order. The chewy mochi is first stretched, before your desired fruit and toppings are loaded on, and the whole thing is wrapped tightly before being tossed in a coating of your choice: like oreo crumbs, soybean powder, crushed peanuts or butter crackers.
