We know just how much you love your cheesecakes, and we found a new spot for you to get your cheesecake fix. Cat and the Fiddle is a popular cheesecake-specialty brand that’s known for their frozen cheesecake slices and whole cakes in various flavours, but they’ve just launched a brand new freshly-baked version that’s served warm and still-jiggly!
Their newest Freshly-baked Basque Cheesecake is just like the name suggests—each one is freshly baked-to-order, and served still-warm straight from the oven. As each one is baked upon order, you might have to wait up to 20 minutes for yours at the store. The cheesecakes are baked constantly throughout the day in small batches, and they come out super jiggly with a perfectly caramelised crust and oozing, melting centre.
You’re recommended to enjoy the cheesecakes warm, the way they were made to be: this way you can eat them straight with a spoon, dip into them with a plain cracker or as a creamy spread over bread. There are also other unique ways you can eat it: with a shot of espresso like an affogato, served with a scoop of ice cream or even torched creme brûlée-style.
The Freshly-baked Basque Cheesecake is now available at a promotional opening price of $15 each (UP. $19.90 each) from now until 31st December 2025. You can get them exclusively at their newest Westgate outlet, as well as their upcoming Tampines 1 outlet that’ll be opening soon in January 2026.
