- Overall & subject rankings; you’ll want to take note of the university’s standing in comparison to other universities in the area, as well as the courses that they’re most known for
- Recognition; is the university well-known and does it have a good reputation professionally?
- Programme structure; how is the curriculum carried out, how are classes conducted (coursework/project-based etc.), what kind of research opportunities or practical experiences will you gain?
Entry requirements; if the university checks all your boxes, you’ll then need to examine if you meet their requirements as a potential student
