We love Bangkok for their cheap eats, night markets, sights and shopping, but did you know there’s also plenty of vintage thrifting options too? One such gem for vintage shopping is at Bangsue Junction: a 6-storey indoor shopping haven that’s located right opposite the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market!
The massive air-conditioned 6-storey mall holds plenty of different thrift, vintage and antique stores, with prices starting from a pocket-friendly 100 baht (~$3.80 SGD) each.
You’ll find plenty of unique vintage pieces that you probably won’t see in Singapore thrift stores, like statement leather pieces, cowboy/cowgirl boots and hats, evening gowns and intricate beaded accessories, just to name a couple.
Many shops offer a curated selection of rare vintage and streetwear pieces from brands like Stussy, Carhartt, Dickies, Patagonia, Ralph Lauren, 90s-style NBA/NFL jerseys, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Harley Davidson and more. For branded vintage pieces like these, you can expect that items will be pricier, from about $40 to $100 SGD.

Of course, you’ll also be able to find plenty of popular thrifted styles like Y2K apparel, graphic t-shirts, denim jeans/bottoms/jorts, baby tees, fairy blouses, reworked pieces and more. There are also plenty of accessories like sunnies, bags, shoes and jewellery, plus even antique decor items, figurines, vintage film cameras, homeware and knick knacks.
If you’re looking to visit Bangsue Junction, make sure to prepare cash on hand, as most (if not all) stores are cash-only. Bangsue Junction’s nearest MRT station is Kamphaeng Phet, and after you’re done shopping, you can simply walk right over to Chatuchak just 3 minutes away for some good food!
