After a one-month closure, Design Orchard has returned this June with a fresh new look, bringing you new and improved shopping experiences, store features, concepts and more!
If you’re not familiar with Design Orchard, this is where you’ll find the most unique homegrown brands and products in Singapore. If you’re looking for a way to #supportlocal, this is definitely where you should go—with the largest collection of local brands you’ll find in Singapore (over 100!), you’re sure to find something that suits your fancy. Brands featured in the centre aisle are also curated and refreshed every 6 months, so you’ll alway find something new and exciting to discover and shop.
The newly revamped space makes shopping an absolute breeze: from the stellar customer service, friendly layout and soothing ambience to boot. Walking into the store, you’re first greeted by the specially created signature Design Orchard scent—that’s also available for purchase in essential oil/diffuser/candle form.

Design Orchard’s Rear Entrance/Exit
The most exciting new feature of the store is a VIP lounge and private fitting room, as well as an IG-worthy Content Creation Corner where you can take OOTDs and for brands to host events, launches, activations and more. Design Orchard’s reimagined store window now also includes a catwalk/runway where you can preview exclusive products and showcases both from the inside and outside of the store! Another new store feature that’s bound to excite frequent shoppers is the addition of a rear entrance. This makes accessing Design Orchard much more convenient, especially in inclement weather or when you have your hands full—shoppers can simply call their car/cab directly to the rear entrance drive-through for a pick-up/drop-off!
One fun new feature of the revamp is the use of modular racks, shelves and moveable panels throughout the store. What this fully modular space means is that you’ll never know what to expect whenever you step into the store as the layout and displays are ever-changing, giving you a fresh and unique shopping experience every time.
The addition of these movable panels to Design Orchard’s existing ceiling fixtures is also aligned with Design Orchard’s sustainability efforts. Instead of creating or purchasing new fixtures, this new eco-friendly design makes use of existing elements. This goes for the rest of the furniture and displays in Design Orchard that have been repurposed and reused from before the revamp, which not only makes the relaunched Design Orchard gorgeous in aesthetic, but also environmentally friendly.

When shopping at Design Orchard, look out for items with the “EXCLUSIVE” tag attached (usually found towards the centre of the store), these items are unique to the Design Orchard store, and you won’t find them anywhere else! We especially loved the gorgeous handmade bags and purses by the brand COCOONESE, including a special collaborative collection with Victoria Hertel that includes items in exclusive exotic prints. The candles and diffusers from Temple Candles are not only great for making the room smell amazing, but also make for aesthetic display/decor pieces.
