With hotpot being a popular dining choice, there is no lack of steamboat restaurants around. But we found In The Tent, a newly opened hotpot eatery in JB with a concept we’ve never seen anywhere else before.

Here, customers enjoy hotpot in Moroccan-looking tents with a view of the Mount Austin enclave. The pots aren’t regular pots either but heart shaped ones that contain two types of broths — great for both the ‘gram and on dates.

If you’re not in the mood for steamboat, the restaurant also has a selection of BBQ skewers.

Chill out and take in the breeze at the lounge area once you’re done. On weekends, anticipate live band performances at the stage from 8.30pm-11.30pm. If word gets out fast enough, In The Tent might be the new spot Singaporeans flock to for supper. Best to get here before everyone else does!
