You’re probably familiar with Smile Dessert’s fun and playful themed ball pit café concepts, such as the blue and white-themed café featuring KAWS at Gr.iD Mall. Now, Smile Dessert has opened a third outlet at Funan, this time with a completely different ball pit concept!
Smile Dessert 3.0’s decor stays true to their iconic ball pit concept, except this time with a dreamlike and ethereal feel. Unlike the first outlet which was pink-themed and the second bright blue-themed café, the new Smile Dessert is much more soothing and toned down in terms of colour scheme.
The café walls are decked in reflective silver, and the ball pit is filled with translucent balls illuminated by soft white light, giving off a calming and dreamy vibe that’s unlike any of their other outlets. Every corner of the café is also super Instagrammable—seat yourself inside the ball pit area and unleash your inner child, or play around with the huge life-sized teddy bear! If you’re not a fan of the ball pit, you can also choose to set at their regular tables!
Highlights from Smile Dessert’s menu includes fun desserts like Bunny Yogurt Mousse Cake ($8.90), Black Swan Souffle ($15.90), Boba Pearl Mousse Cake ($7.90); as well as vibrantly coloured drinks like Dragon Fruit Tea ($7.90), Strawberry & Mango Yogurt Shake ($7.90) Peach Oolong ($6.90) and more!
