Kream & Kensho – New Japanese Cafe with Pretty Interiors and IG-Worthy Food & Drinks!

Ever since the end of Circuit Breaker, a throng of new cafes and restaurants have popped up all around the island. New kid on the block is Kream & Kensho, a new Japanese-inspired cafe at Kampung Bahru Road with a minimalist sense of aesthetics in both its food and interiors.

Officially opening on 23rd September, the new cafe has a soft rustic sense of comfort that combines with the modern furniture and the bright airy environment to create a distinct homely vibe that makes you just want to sit back and chill on – perfect for a quiet and lazy afternoon.

The menu includes a series of Japanese-inspired Donburis (starting from $10.90) and various standard cafe items with innovative twists, like the Kombu Truffle Fries ($15) – thick-cut fries topped with Kombu, a type of Japanese seaweed.

Also on the menu are Western-inspired fusion items such as the Sakura Ebi Capellini ($16), as well as various kinds of desserts, such as the Hokkaido Milk Cheesecake ($10).

Drinks such as the K&K Milk Tea ($6) are served with a huge dollop of whipped cream on top, so you can get that Instagram-worthy shot. Other creative drink mixes include the likes of Ginger Brown Sugar ($5.50) and Yuzu Matcha ($6.50).

As the cafe is relatively new, its menu is still subject to change. Follow their social media at to keep yourself updated with what to come! We can’t wait to see what’s next to come for this charming little place.
