Singapore’s independent coffee shop, renowned for serving a variety of specialty coffee and mouth-watering brunches, Craftsmen, now expands beyond its innumerable outlets in Clarke Quay Central, Holland Village, Mohd Sultan, Siglap V, Novena and Eastwood Centre, to launch an all-new casual café along Bukit Timah Road. Dubbed ‘Prairie By Craftsmen’, this venture presents an outdoor alfresco dine-in concept, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, at affordable prices.

Conceptualised to match its name, the Prairie showcases a habitat of grass, flora and fauna, trees, and the occasional shrubs. Through maintaining a highly eco-friendly environment, the Prairie is able to incorporate dedicated spaces for a lush bamboo forest, and palatial courtyard.

Accommodating up to 40 guests at a time, the Prairie’s alfresco-dining area facilitates an abundance of natural sunlight, thanks to the restaurant’s large sunroof, which mimics that of a glasshouse. Indoors, the restaurant features an additional 40 seat dining area, positioned under warm and cosy lighting installations.

Complete with three separate menus, Prairie by Craftsmen serves breakfast in the form of Morning Granola ($13), Eggs on Toast ($12), Smoked Almond & Avocado Croissant ($16) and Acai Bowl ($15), from 8:30am to 12pm. Sharing similar menus, Prairie’s lunch and dinner selection include, Blue Mussel Pasta,  Truffle Mushroom Risotto, Fish and Chips, Ribeye Steak, Beef Oxtail, and Hokkaido Scallop Cold Pasta for an average of $24-$34, amongst a multitude of others.
