This centrally-located university’s old Multi-Purpose Hall building was converted to an SMU lab which is open for students 24/7. With comfortable chairs and tables big enough for all of your study materials, they even have sofa beds for you to take a short nap in between. Perfect spot for you and your friends to discuss projects or to organise a study group.

4. Brew Maison
Brew Maison is a spacious cafe that provides free Wifi along with numerous power points for you to work on your stuff without worrying about ambient noise. It helps that the decor is pastel-perfect and easy on the eyes too.

Located in the heart of Laselle, Lowercase is an industrial-chic, well-lit space that oozes artistic vibes. No better place to camp at if you’re easing a writer’s block or need some inspiration. With comfy seats and ample power points, this cafe is a struggling novel writer’s ideal work spot.

10. Tom N Toms

You might have heard of this famous Korean chain; it’s known all over Korea for fluffy pretzels and aromatic coffee. The branch in Singapore has two separate sections, one of which is by the road and lit with ample sunlight. Power points are aplenty and wifi is free, plus they serve a mean matcha latte and bingsu. It’s hands down one of our favourite nooks.
