2. Paint Yoga

Yoga and art jamming studios are a dime a dozen in Singapore, but this is probably the first studio that combines both yoga and art in a single session! With Paint Yoga, you’ll get down and dirty with paint while executing yoga moves.

You’ll be painting with your body on the yoga mat itself, creating a unique piece of art in a completely safe and zen environment. Attend the paint yoga class (from $170/pax) by yourself or create a collaborative art piece with a partner! If you don’t want to do yoga, that’s fine too! 3. Van Cleef & Arpels ‘Poetry of Time’

Van Cleef & Arpels’ gorgeous gemstone encrusted jewellery and timepieces meets art in the new ‘Poetry of Time’ art exhibition happening from 12th-20th February 2022!

The immersive exhibition is a recreation of the streets of Paris, featuring 4 themed galleries: Love Stories, Ballerinas and Fairies, Poetic Astronomy and Enchanting Nature. There will be numerous photo ops at every corner, and you’ll also be able to view 198 pieces of Van Cleef & Arpels’ jewelry and watches that will also be available for purchase. The exhibition is free to visit but requires prior reservations here.

4. Am I Addicted 

Try your hand at Korean-style pottery with this new pottery studio and café called Am I Addicted! Am I Addicted is a tranquil and spacious Korean pottery studio with over 130 gorgeous Korea-imported glaze shades to choose from. 

Classes start from $80/pax, inclusive of all the materials you need, and you’ll also get to choose between 2 types of pottery techniques: wheel-throwing or handbuilding. 5. Franck Muller ‘A Horological Journey’

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, this exclusive Franck Muller exhibition takes you on an exploration of modern Swiss watchmaking through 30 years of Franck Muller designs.

The hourly guided tours will expound on the visionary watchmaker’s revolutionary designs and ideas that have shaped watchmaking today. Admission is free, but you’ll have to book tickets to secure your slot beforehand here

6. Round Island Route

If you’re looking for something more active to do, why not trek or cycle along the newly opened Round Island Route (RIR)? This 75km long park connector trail stretches from Seletar all the way to Labrador Park.

Whether you’re down for a leisurely walk, or a more active cycle or run, this trail is sure to provide some stellar views of the waterfront and nature. You can get to the RIR via any of the park connectors here.

 

7. Nam June Paik: The Future Is Now

 Nam June Paik’s The Future Is Now is a vibrant and psychedelic exhibit chock-full of IG-worthy multi-medium exhibits and installations!

Expect various dreamy and vibey light projections, video sculptures, ambient sounds and more! While all the ethereal and futuristic rainbow light projections are pretty impressive on their own, be wowed even more with the interactive sound elements of the exhibition to make your experience even more unforgettable!

8. SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark

You’ve seen the throngs of queues that formed at Tanjong Pagar Distripark when the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) just unveiled its new home there—and for good reason.

The new SAM is spread out over 2 floors, with over 3000 metres of space to fill with various artworks, art experiences, F&B areas and more. Current exhibitions at SAM include REFUSE, Creatif Compleks, Flirting Point and more!

9. A Voyage of Love and Longing 

Discover new ways of expressing your love through this interactive exhibition, A Voyage of Love and Longing. Inspired by the practice of belayar (voyage) in the Malay Archipelago during the 19th Century, this exhibition invites you to rethink and retrace the complex emotion of love.

Explore the various flora and fauna features in tales of love and longing in the Malay world, and at the end of it, you’ll also be able to to send out some of your favourite flora and fauna to your loved ones via a digital flipbook.
