2. Doulos Hope Ship

The Doulos Hope is now docked at VivoCity from now till 21st May 2023, offering free ship tours, a book fair and deck café for the public to enjoy. Along with the ship’s crew, the Doulos Hope looks to share knowledge, help and hope to the people of the world’s port cities.

Hop aboard to explore the famed “floating book store”, with thousands of book titles available for purchase. Admission to the shop is free, but prior bookings must be made here. Tours of the shop are also run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

3. Sensory Odyssey: Into the Heart of Our Living World

A new immersive 360-degree exhibition is heading your way at the Artscience Museum this May 2023. Titled Sensory Odyssey, this multi-sensory exhibition looks to bring you through a mesmerising journey and exploration into our ecosystem.

Look forward to striking and lifelike ultra high-definition videos filmed in 8K at various scenic locations around the planet for a truly larger-than-life experience. From rainforests to oceans, you’ll get up close and personal with the living world through colours, sounds, scents and more.

4. Bazaar Lambak

Tampines has a new halal street food fair that’s happening from now till 6th June 2023 with plenty of booths, live performances and daily busking. For food, you can expect a wide array of food from various cuisines, including Thai, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and more.

5. Hendricks Sunset Cinema

Catch the popular Hendricks Sunset Cinema for its final weekend for a one-of-a-kind outdoor silent cinema experience along the sandy shoes of Tanjong Beach. Be treated to a stunning and scenic view of the sunset before the movie starts, and sip on a complimentary Hendrick’s Gin Cocktail.

6. Tulipmania

Frolick amongst the exotic Turkish tulips at Gardens by the Bay’s latest floral display, Tulipmania: Origins of the Tulip. Come admire the uniquely-shaped tulips, alongside some of Turkey’s art, culture and architecture. 

There will be plenty of IG-worthy spots to look out for, including hot air balloons surrounding a replica of Cappadocia, the famous Temple of Artemis, Galata Tower and more. Aside from the regular tulip flowers that you’re familiar with, there will also be other variations of the flower including wild tulips, crown tulips, lily-flowered tulips and more.

7. See Me, See You Exhibition 

This new exhibition at National Gallery expounds on the history of video installation art in Southeast Asia, featuring 10 artists who have combined installation, performance and audience participation together with video to give you an interactive exhibition that’s sure to evoke the senses.

The highlight of the exhibition is undoubtedly the one titled: How to Explain Art to a Bangkok Cock, a satirical piece featuring the iconic Mona Lisa as well as actual, live chickens, chicks and turkeys. Visitors can also look forward to 3D experiences, experimental works, immersive 360 displays and more.

8. Bird Paradise

9. Pokémon Cable Car

Catch a ride in an actual “Poké Ball” with Singapore’s new Pokémon-themed cable car rides featuring some of your favourite Pokémon characters! These special themed cable cars will be available from now till 30th September 2023, with cable car interiors and exteriors outfitted with characters like Pikachu, Eevee, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly.

There will also be various Pokémon-themed backdrops and photo-ops available around Mount Faber Peak itself for you to snap photos with. You can also stop by the gift shop for more Pokémon merchandise like plushies, figurines, cards, blind boxes and more.
