UNIQLO is opening a new outlet at Raffles City on 14th October 2022, with exclusive freebies and discounts to enjoy! Just for the opening weekend from 14th to 16th October, UNIQLO Raffles City will be giving out complimentary cold brew coffee, tea or chocolate from FLASH Coffee (limited to the first 200 UNIQLO APP Members daily)!

There will also be a Spin & Win where you get a chance to win an adventure on Klook (minimum spend of $60 required). New offerings at UNIQLO’s Raffles outlet include enhanced fitting room services, style advisors and even a hotel concierge delivery service!

2. Hillion Mall Pasar Malam

Westies will be glad to know that there’s a new pasar malam in your area at the Hillion Mall! Located right outside Hillion Mall, this pasar malam will be running till 26th October 2022.

Expect fan-favourite pasar malam stalls like Ramly Burger, Sweet Potato Balls, fried snacks, sugarcane drinks, kebabs, Thai milk tea and more!

3. YSL Pop-Up

YSL is back with another IG-worthy pop-up event at ION Orchard! This time, the pop-up celebrates the fashion house’s new Fall/Winter 2022 women’s collection from now till 17th October 2022. Don’t forget to snap lots of glamorous OOTDs at the IG-worthy LED walls!

You can expect art deco-inspired apparel and accessories like oversized textured cuff bracelets, the iconic Le 5 À 7 hobo bag in new skins like purple python leather and croc-embossed leather and many more. You can also shop the collection at the pop-up itself.

4. Cosfest 2022

Cosfest returns for yet another run this year at Downtown East with over 100 booths and featuring celebrity appearances from international cosplayers! Booths to expect include retail brands like CAESARS, offering visitors a wide range of anime products and merchandise.

Visitors to Cosfest can also look forward to song and dance performances from stars like Neneko from Taiwan, Joo A from South Korea and many more. Band West Winds will also perform hits from popular animations and movies. Tickets to the event cost $12 for a 1-day pass and $22 for a 2-day pass. Tickets are available here.

5. Singapore International Photography Festival

Step into a haunting neon-lit exhibition at the Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) at the Peace Centre this October. From nostalgic and retro-inspired installations, video installations, photography pieces and more—the exhibition is sure to evoke lingering feelings in its visitors.

There will also be an interactive segment where participants enter different waiting rooms and constantly take queue numbers, without knowing what it is they’re waiting for; and afterwards penning their thoughts on the experience down on paper. This Peace Centre exhibiton is free for the public.

6. Cable Car Sky Dining

There’s a new and romantic cable car dining experience where you get to dine under the stars! With the Stardust Cabin, you get to enjoy a private cable car sky dining experience with stunning panoramic views of Singapore with your bestie or a special someone.

Watch the sunset as you dine on a specially curated 4-course menu with your choice of Asian cuisines like Chinese, Japanese and Thai! The Stardust Cabin experience is available for 2 pax at $149 and will last approximately 90 minutes (30 minutes at Arbora, 60 minutes onboard the cable car).

7. Spell Jar Workshop

A spell jar that can bring you good luck and wealth? Sign us right up! Little Moon Crib is a crystals and curios boutique offering spell jar workshops where you can create your very own spell jars for protection, abundance and more!

Little Moon Crib currently has 2 different spell jars available, one for Protection and another for Abundance. The workshop is fully guided, and by the end of it you’ll end up with a pretty little jar filled with various elements and herbs, all sealed with wax. 8. BELIEVE Exhibition

Step into a magical world of fantastical and mythical creatures with this unique exhibition featuring some never-before-seen creatures! The one-of-a-kind exhibition brings fantastical and fictional creatures into reality, such as fairies, three-headed dogs, and other mythical creatures conjured by the brilliant minds at Black Crow, created and assembled using various bugs and skeletal remains.

9. Tiong Bahru Bakery Pop-Up

In celebration of Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB)’s 10th Anniversary, they are having another pop-up event, this time along the streets of Orchard Road! Titled A Decade of Gratitude, visitors can experience an interactive space and play games to win attractive prizes!

There will be 5 interactive activity rooms like a French Butter feature and French flour space where you can learn more about TBB’s history and the art of French baking. 10. Baybeats 2022

Annual alternative music festival, Baybeats is back this year at Esplanade, with a fresh new line-up of music acts and performances! There will be four stages happening at the 3-day event: the Powerhouse, the Annexe, the Arena and the Chillout stage.

Look forward to indie rock and alternative music by the bay from local and international artists. Acts at Baybeats include the likes of Astronauts, hathaw9y, Hijack Hayley, Carpet Golf and more; plus you can watch the acts at the festival for free! For the full line-up, see here

11. Sentosa Central Beach Bazaar

Sentosa’s highly-anticipated Central Beach Bazaar is finally with brand new attractions like a sky-high SkyJet fountain, a multi-concept food street and more! One highlight from the bazaar is the Sentosa SkyJet, standing at a whopping 80-metres tall and transforms from a magnificent fountain during the day to a luminous water show with colour-changing LED lights at night!

There is also an International Food Street featuring 8 unique F&B concepts. The fan-favourite Sentosa Musical Fountain also makes a comeback with musical numbers like Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and Walking on Sunshine, as well as a more modern medley of fan-favourite National Day songs like Home and Count on Me Singapore. 12. House of Dreams Exhibition

It’s truly a Barbie world at the House of Dreams, a Barbie-pink haven perfect for all Barbie fans to relive the nostalgia of playing with the world’s most iconic doll and bring all your childhood dreams to life! ION Orchard has teamed up with Mattel and renowned Singaporean Barbie collector Jian Yang to bring you a glamorous and star-studded free exhibition featuring over 600 Barbie dolls! 

The exhibition features Barbies dressed in all sorts of outfits: from extravagant evening gowns, beautiful bridal wear, F1 racing gear, traditional and ethnic wear and more; plus iconic Barbies from pop culture like Elvis, Superman, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Harry Potter, High School Musical, Wicked and so much more!
