1. Hello, Changi Precinct

This is a new Instagrammable interactive installation at Changi Airport that lets you reminisce on some of Singapore’s most iconic estates in neighbourhoods like Tampines, East Coast Park and Bedok. 

Take a trip down memory lane as you explore some of the vibrant, colourful and nostalgic installations with various themed zones like an old-school barber shop, watermelon playground, digital arcade and more!

2. Fresh x Merci Marcel Rose Café 

The Fresh x Merci Marcel Rose Café is a pop-up event by Fresh Beauty where you can get free samples, hand massages, exclusive menu items and more! The pop-up is in celebration of Fresh’s rose series, and is super aesthetic and IG-worthy decked in pinks and florals.

3. Tesla Model Y Showcase

For the first time in Singapore, Tesla is having a public showcase at ION Orchard for their newly launched Model Y series! The Model Y is Tesla’s latest range of all-electric SUVs, and you can view and experience the new sleek models at ION Ochard’s Level 1 Atrium.

4. Wayang Spaceship

The Wayang Spaceship is a new outdoor activation that’ll be up for 2 years, featuring various performances and programmes that will evolve periodically. The installation is free for public viewing and is placed outside the Singapore Art Museum (SAM).

The Wayang Spaceship is a futuristic-esque installation that merges the outer space aesthetic with the olden-day Wayang or Chinese opera culture with daily activations featuring light, sound and film.

5. Burberry TB Summer Monogram

The iconic Burberry TB Summer Monogram takeover has landed in Tanjong Beach Club for a limited-time pop-up celebrating the new Burberry Monogram Summer Collection!

6. Sentosa’s Movie by the Beach 

Sentosa is hosting free movie screenings at Siloso beach on alternate Fridays from now till September 2022! The movie screenings are absolutely free, and are family-friendly as well.

Upcoming movies to be screened include The Mummy, Cars, Pirates of the Caribbean and more; for the full line-up of movies, see here. No pre-booking is required, you simply have to turn up to the location and claim your spot (limited to 400 pax, first come first serve)! You can also being your own picnic mats or foldable chairs.

7. Attack On Titan: The Exhibition

Thanks to resounding popularity and turnout, the Attack On Titan exhibition at ArtScience Museum has been extended till 9th August 2022! Visitors to the exhibition will experience a visual and sensory overload, getting a peek inside Hajime Isayama’s genius worldbuilding and character creation. 

The exhibition will house over 180 artworks from the manga’s early days to the present, plus you’ll also get to enjoy an immersive battle sequence in The Great Titan Theatre. Get your tickets to the exhibition here

8. Art ‘R’ Us Exhibition

This unique exhibition is held by Leica’s ambassador, Aik Beng Chia, and will highlight the behind-the-scenes of some of Singapore’s own homegrown artists. 

The exhibition showcases a series of photographs and portraits of 12 local artists, depicting themselves as artists and drawing connections between them and their creations. The exhibition is free, but you have to make an appointment to visit here

9. Hydrangea Holidays

Experience a slice of the Netherlands right here in Singapore with the new Hydrangea Holidays at Gardens by the Bay! This is the first-ever hydrangea display in Singapore, with over 20 varieties of colourful blooms for all your photo-worthy moments.

The display will also include various traditional elements and installations like windmills, canals, townhouses and a lighthouse, all reminiscent of those found in the Netherlands.

10. To the Forest of Verbs with “MUJI IS” Exhibition

Catch this aesthetic MUJI exhibition before it’s gone: held in celebration of the “MUJI IS” book, the MUJI exhibition is a super aesthetic and minimalist set up, done in true MUJI fashion with their classic brown recycled paper aesthetic.  

The exhibition is modelled after a “forest”, where visitors can walk through and explore the 15 different verbs included in the “MUJI IS” book. Visitors will also be able to learn about MUJI’s design ethos and product archives through this forest-like experience.

11. Superfluous Things: Paper Exhibition

This is an interactive exhibition at Singapore Art Museum all about—you guessed it—paper! The exhibition not only highlights the important role of paper in our everyday lives, but also evokes thoughts about the relevance of paper in our future.

Visitors to the exhibition will get to experience various renditions and interpretations of paper: activating all their senses to engage closely with the medium of paper, with materiality and more.

12. Off/On: Everyday Technology that Changed our Lives, 1970s-2000s

This immersive showcase explores how everyday technology has changed and shaped our daily lives from the 1970s to 2000s. Here you’ll find familiar settings like a home, workplace, coffee shop and other social spaces filled with nostalgic items like typewriters, payphones, old-school snacks, technicolour television sets and more.
