Spank My Dough is yet another local bakery to bring their A game in reinventing one of the most iconic sweet treats of all time—doughnuts.
As an online artisanal doughnut shop, Spank My Dough prides themselves on premium doughnuts that are hand-rolled in small quantities daily. We’re all no stranger to sweet doughnut flavours that make a sinful snack or midday treat, but it’s not often that we see a savoury doughnut. Spank My Dough has created their own take on a savoury doughnut with their Maple Bacon Bar—18-hour brioche doughnuts in rectangular bar form coupled with maple-glazed crispy bacon! That’s right, this bacon doughnut bar is topped with actual strips of bacon! The sweet and savoury combination of maple glaze and salty fried bacon makes this creation the perfect breakfast doughnut.
The Maple Bacon Bar is available as a single ($6.50) or in a box of 4 ($25), and you can pre-order them online for delivery or pickup here.
