Enter the rabbit hole with this new whimsical Alice in Wonderland-inspired high tea affair at The Lobby Lounge at InterContinental Singapore! Look forward to an afternoon tea affair filled with iconic motifs, alongside coffee or tea and unlimited servings of ice cream!
The set comes served on a three-tiered birdcage stand with a quirky checkered design—very on brand indeed. As for the high tea treats, look forward to a selection of various savouries, sweets and scones, with each item decorated beautifully to match the theme.
Highlights include treats inspired by some of Alice in Wonderland’s iconic motifs: like “The Clock”, fun clock-shaped macarons; “Poison Mushroom”, orange mushrooms served in edible pots’ “Chess Checkers” modelled to look like chess pieces on a board; bold red “Ace of Hearts” that are shaped like hearts and more!
The set also comes with free flow gelato and sorbet from The Lobby Lounge’s ice cream cart in assorted flavours like Strawberry, Coconut Peach, Coffee, Lemon Lime and more. You’ll also get one serving of coffee or loose-leaf tea per person. For the full high tea menu, see here.
If you thought the high tea set itself is simply too aesthetic to eat, wait till you see the decor that comes with it! The Lobby Lounge has been transformed to resemble a whimsical and enchanting Wonderland to really bring the whole theme to life. There will be plenty of photo ops with Wonderland’s woodland creatures, IG-worthy backdrops, plus various flora and fauna adorning the space.
The Whimsical Afternoon Tea is available daily from 1pm to 3pm and 3.30pm to 5.30pm; for a limited time only, from now till 30th June 2023. Prices for the set are as follows:
