Snow City has always been the closest thing we got to winter in sunny Singapore, but come February 2019, there’ll be an enormous new wintry pop-up for us to bust out our winter coats for!
Boasting 600 tonnes of fresh, powdery “snow”, the winter wonderland Ice Magic – The Whimsical Candy Playground is made up of 2 parts – a Whimsical Candy Playground filled with life-sized candy-themed exhibits to snap photos with, and an Ice Magic Park with frigid sub-zero temperatures, snowfall, and winter sports.

Some of the highly-Instagrammable installations to keep a lookout for include The Nutcracker and a giant English chess set crafted entirely out of edible chocolate, a Magic Forest with luminescent mushrooms, creatures, and glowing candy houses, and a pastel ball pit!

As for the snow park, where the temperature hovers at around -8°C to -13°C, there’ll be snow gently falling onto the ground, a thick, powder white “blanket” to ski and snowboard on, as well as carnival-like attractions such as ice sculptures, an ice-skating rink, and bumper cars-on-ice to go wild with.
