Artbox Thailand has officially closed down after hosting pop-up markets in Bangkok for the past 5 years.
Originally started as an avenue for entrepreneurs and indie brands to sell handmade products, the concept had become popular among locals and tourists alike due to its congregation of trendy stores.
Artbox was also where many viral food items first made their debut, such as the lightbulb bubble tea.
Artbox has also been hosting annual markets in Singapore since 2017. This yearâs Eatbox happened in March and was host to booths opened by a wide range of trendy cafes and restaurants.
However, this may not be the end. The owner of Artbox expresses hope that the market may return sometime in the future when the COVID situation improves and tourism resumes.
