Pickleball is gaining popularity here in Singapore, and while there’s a couple of outdoor pickleball courts available across the island, many of them are pretty small and hard to book. If you’re a pickleball enthusiast, you’re in luck: the first-ever indoor, pickleball court has just opened in Singapore at Expo!

SPH Pickle Padel is the latest entrant to Singapore’s pickleball scene, and it’s also the first one to be housed indoors, and fully air-conditioned to boot. The massive space boasts a total of 9 bookable courts, with 6 courts dedicated to pickleball and 3 for padel. For those who aren’t familiar with padel, it’s another high-energy type of racquet sport that’s played in doubles, kind of like a blend of tennis and squash.

Court sessions are available to book from $30 per hour for pickleball, or from $70 per hour for padel. Aside from courts, they’ve also got an in-house equipment store where you can rent or purchase rackets and balls. There’s also staff available on-site if you need guidance or coaching, and even a dedicated warm-up and cool-down zone equipped with bikes and resistance bands.
