The popular food bazaar at Wisma Geylang Serai is back for its 5th edition this weekend, till 31st August 2025 only! This time, the event has nearly 60 vendors in total, including over 40 different F&B stalls to explore. While the event might not be as big as the annual food bazaar during Hari Raya, it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for something to eat.
The food bazaar has a good mix of classic pasar malam fare, as well as some new entrants to the food pop-up scene, including some trendy and modern food items that the younger crowd would enjoy. Some of the more interesting options we spotted include stuffed jacket potatoes, XXL fries, philly cheesesteaks, Korean corndogs, sushi tacos, Samyang noodle egg rolls, tteokbokki, bombolinis and more.
There’s plenty of options especially for dessert lovers, like the Pistachio Kunafa Soufflé Pancake ($13.90), Bubblegum Blue Kunafa ($14), Strawberry Tiramisu Ice Cream ($9), Berry Good Shibuya Toast ($12.90), Mochi Croffles ($12 per box) and Assorted Tiramisu (from $10.90). Out of the desserts we tried, the Berry Good Shibuya Toast was one of our favourites as the toast itself had a crunchy exterior and fluffy inside, and came with 2 scoops of ice cream too.
The Bubblegum Blue Kunafa might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but we’re told it’s one of the most popular flavours, especially if you’ve got a sweet tooth. There’s also several stalls offering the ever-popular matcha lattes, but if you’re looking to get your matcha fix, we’d recommend trying AZUCHA by local influencer Azula Cinta (@azulacinta). Each cup of matcha is freshly whisked to order, and we like how the matcha itself is intense and bright green.
Prices of food items at the bazaar start from as low as $3 each. Some of the popular and trendy vendors we spotted include tiramisu slices and soufflés from Sugar Mama Lah, mochi croffles and sushi tacos from SOHTT, Shibuya toasts from Only Toast, jacket potatoes from Ministry of Spud, dessert corndogs from Famous Mini Pancake and many more. The entire event is also halal-friendly.
Aside from food, there’s also over 15 retail booths with items like clothing apparel, vintage toys, Hot Wheels collectibles, plushie keychains, DIY trinkets, fragrances and the like. There’s also a bouncy castle with free entry (no tickets required), as well as live music and stage performances by local artistes. Performances will be happening from Friday to Sunday, usually starting at around 7pm. There’s dining tables available around the event and at the stage so you can enjoy your eats while soaking in the vibes and live music.
