The Cozy Cabin offers one-of-a-kind Glass Decal Workshops (from $40 each), where you can create your own personalised glassware with unlimited decal designs. The 1.5-hour workshop session lets you go crazy with the decals: you can cut or stamp out designs from coloured decal paper, or use some of their in-house hand-illustrated designs.
The possibilities are quite literally endless here: with quirky character designs, catchphrases, fish, flowers, animals, fruits, vegetables, food, letters and more. You can even use the coloured decal papers to cut out abstract motifs or blobs for a more whimsical and playful design. We loved how the sky’s the limit: you can pick unlimited decals to decorate your items with and get really creative.
The decals kind of work like temporary tattoo stickers: you have to dip them in water to separate the film before attaching it to your glassware and drying it to make sure it sticks. Don’t be fooled by how “simple” this looks though, it actually takes quite a bit of patience and a steady hand to stick all the decals on!
Prices for the workshop start from $40 per item, and you can pick from a selection of different glassware to decorate: plates, yogurt cups, cereal cups, wine glasses, smoothie cups or juice cups. Once you’ve finished decorating your item(s) with the decals, you won’t be able to take them home right away. You’ll have to wait 3-4 weeks for the items to be fired first, so as to seal and lock in the designs permanently.
