On 10th October 2025, a Request for Quotation (RfQ) was published on GeBIZ titled “Addition and Alteration (A&A) Works to Convert Sections of Little India Bus Terminal (LIBT) for Recreational Pickleball Activities” (reference no. SSC000ETQ25000035). The move comes in accordance with Sport Singapore’s (SportSG) plans to open more accessible pickleball facilities across the island. Currently, Little India Bus Terminal only operates as a private pick-up point on Sundays, and with this new retrofitting plan in place, part of the terminal will be allocated for recreational pickleball use as well.
