You’ve heard of farm-to-table dining, but what about farm-to-table ice cream? At The Sundowner’s new hands-on workshop experience, you’ll get to make your own honey ice cream from scratch, using fresh honey harvested directly from their in-house bee farm!
Get up close and personal with the buzzy bees as you embark on a hands-on, interactive learning journey to discover how your beloved honey goes from the hive to the jar. Then you’ll learn how to craft your very own creamy, dreamy honey ice cream from the ice cream artisans themselves, and even try your hand at making some crunchy honeycomb!
The 2-hr guided Honey Ice Cream Making Workshop includes:
- Bee-inspired education and tour of the apiary
- Live step-by-step demonstrations & hands-on ice cream making
- Honey ice cream & honeycomb tasting
- Take-home recipes & tips
The Honey Ice Cream Making Workshop is available every Sunday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, and is priced at $105 per person for join-in sessions (minimum of 4 persons to start). Private sessions for 2 persons are also available at $340 ($170 per person).
