The pink spread not only looks pretty, but tastes just as good. True to its description of being a Mediterranean version of the classic Japanese mentaiko, the Taramasalata is rich in taste with a slight tang, just a little bit of the the stuff goes a long way in terms of flavour. Dig into the spread any way you want: smeared on a slice of toast, as a dip for fries or tortilla chips, the possibilities are endless.

If the Taramasalata is a little too adventurous for you, go for their signature Kombu Butter ($12), a harmonious marriage of French Butter and Japanese Shio Kombu. The Kombu Butter is truly deserving of being Spread With Style’s signature item, with a fragrant and savoury umami flavour that packs a punch. The Kombu Butter can be used in various ways, add a good dollop of it to your pasta and there you have it—a shortcut to a darn good plate of kombu pasta.

Both spreads are best paired with their homemade Pita Bread, available as a bundle (1 tub & 3 Pita) for $18. Pop the Pita in the microwave or air fryer for about a minute, slather on some of the cool spread and you’re golden.
