New Luxurious Spa Resort Located Within A Forest On A Mountain Slope In Japan

Aman Resorts International, a luxury hotel group with 32 destinations in 20 countries, has announced its fourth Japanese resort in Niseko, Japan. It will be located in an underdiscovered region of central Sapporo within a forested area on Mt. Moiwa, where it is known for abundant snowfall and extensive ski runs.

The 462-acres property, situated in a desolate wilderness of Northern Japan, will feature 30 guest rooms, luxurious wellness facilities and also a number of fine dining restaurants. The quaint-looking resort is inspired by traditional Japanese ryokan(inn) and will incorporate open fireplaces and private onsen in every room. Each room offers a spectacular view of the neighbouring mountains and its wooden interior brings out the tranquility of surrounding nature. Guests can also expect to be graced by a sense of spaciousness with the use of floor to ceiling windows.

With its full spa and wellness facilities, Aman Niseko aims to provide holistic healing experiences for its guests. Through one-to-one consultation, personalized wellness programmes will be specially curated to give guests the full benefits of Japanese fusion healing rituals. The Aman spa also boasts a wide range of wellness facilities, including pre-treatment lounges, relaxation pods, Finnish saunas, Watsu treatment chamber, cold plunge pools, steam rooms, hammam, experience showers and onsen. Guests can end off their serene experience in Aman’s spa tea room.

The resort will provide guests with fine dining experiences with a number of F&B establishments, including Japanese and Italian cuisines, just to name a few. These restaurants will offer seasonal delicacies, from warm comfort food for winter to the lighter tastes for summer.
