You might recognise this bar from comedy romp The Hangover II. This bar has been given numerous awards  and even listed as one of Harper’s Bazaar’s “World’s Best Rooftop Bars” in 2014. The Sky Bar Rooftop at Lebua State Tower offers one of the best views of Bangkok in the city. The river-facing bar is 63 stories above ground, along a busy street. To celebrate the bar’s appearance in The Hangover II, one of the resident mixologists at Lebua created Hangovertini, a blend of green tea liquor, apple juice, Martini Rosso and rosemary honey.

This restaurant/rooftop bar is right on top of the Central World shopping mall. The restaurant serves 5 different cuisines – Thai, Japanese, Indian, Italian, modern European and dessert. The rooftop bar also faces popular shopping centre Siam Paragon, making this a perfect spot to unwind with gorgeous views of the sunset after retail therapy.

The Speakeasy is one of the most unique bars in Bangkok with its vintage decor. It has a view of the Sukhumvit district. There are three different venues spanning two floors that serve old school mixes like French martini and Sazerac 1838, first ever cocktail made in the world.

Vertigo Rooftop Bar is on the 61st storey of the Banyan Tree hotel. We promise it will give you exactly what its name promises – vertiginous views of the Bangkok. It’s an alfresco, unsheltered space with unobstructed views of the city’s towering skyscrapers.

The 32-storey high Above Eleven bar is popular among the in-crowd for its funky decor and vibrant vibes. It occupies three floors and gives a sweeping view of downtown Bangkok. They serve Peruvian cuisine and signature cocktails that are affordably priced. Get your groove on with salsa and jazz music played on different days. Their cocktails are an eclectic mixture of Japanese, Peruvian and New York styles. If you’re up for some food, they also serve Nikkei cuisine apart from Peruvian cuisine, which is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavours.

Distil Rooftop bar is also located in Lebua. Aside from the same stunning riverfront views, Distil also has a innovative cocktail menu. You can get exclusive wines, cigars, and rare whiskeys while enjoying music from their resident DJs. The part indoor, part outdoor bar has both comfy indoor sofa seats and an outdoor cigar terrace. If you get the munchies, they also serve premium sushi, sashimi, and caviar. Head mixologist Ron Ramirez takes inspiration from his travels and from cuisines around the globe. He’s known for his ‘Ice’ concept – he freezes ingredients to enhance the flavours as it melts in your drink.
