1. Pixar Putt

2. Heritage Gallery & Spice Garden at Fort Canning Park

There’s a new Heritage Gallery at Fort Canning Park, plus a newly improved Spice Garden! The brand new Heritage Gallery sheds light on some 700 years of history, with archaeological artefacts, with some dating all the way back to the 14th Century, excavated from Fort Canning Park itself!

The new and improved Spice Garden is sure to be a haven for plant and nature lovers alike, with even more plant varieties to explore (there are 180 varieties currently). There will also be interactive aspects to the garden, where you can test your knowledge on spices and spice harvesting.

3. Kayak Cleanup

Beat the heat this September with PAssion Wave’s Rent-a-Craft, Pay-by-Trash event where you can rent a kayak for just $1! This popular kayak cleanup event is running its 5th edition this September, just in time for the school holidays.

Do your part for the environment by taking part in the Rent-a-Craft, Pay-by-Trash event: pick up some trash from our seas and enjoy a water activity for a steal! Each session is 2 hours and includes registration, cleanup and washing of equipment. The kayak cleanup event will be happening at various locations in Singapore; to sign up, see here

4. UNWIND at Raffles Place

5. Patricia Piccinini: We Are Connected 

This exhibition at ArtScience Museum features realistic human-animal hybrid sculptures, installations and more! Created by contemporary artist Patricia Piccinini, and titled Patricia Piccinini: We Are Connected, the quirky exhibition aims to challenge the norms.

Piccinini pushes boundaries between nature, animal and human through her hyper realistic depictions of animals and humans, especially her uncanny (and slightly disturbing) human-animal hybrids—some of which even make use of actual human hair! For more details, see our full article here

6. A Minion’s Perspective Experience

For fans of the adorkable yellow creatures, this new and upcoming 4-month long Minions-themed pop-up exhibition is sure to delight and excite. A Minion’s Perspective Experience has 8 themed zones and lets you gain an exclusive peek behind the life of a Minion! 

The exhibition will have special behind-the-scenes from the movies, interactive photo ops and activities like a psychedelic unicorn-themed room, multimedia banana game and more! There will also be a Minion retail store where you can shop some exclusive merchandise!

7. Hanging Gardens at Gardens by the Bay

Explore the rich culture and heritage of Mexico with this new floral display at Gardens by the Bay! In partnership with the Embassy of Mexico, Hanging Gardens – Mexican Roots will feature some of the most vibrant and showy blooms you’ve ever seen.

Expect various Mexican-themed landscapes with elements like medallions, the Aztec double-headed serpent and a 4m-tall replica of the iconic Chichen Itza pyramid; plus various blooms like cockscombs, marigolds and more!

8. White Rabbit Pop-Up

The iconic and nostalgic White Rabbit Candy is having a pop-up over at Chin Mee Chin Confectionery! This time, the new and improved White Rabbit cup ice cream will be the star of the show, and you can enjoy the ice cream when you order a set meal ($9.50) at Chin Mee Chin!

9. Yakult Factory Tour

Your favourite childhood drink is offering free tours of their factory so you can get a glimpse into how the delicious probiotic drink is made! During the 1.5-hour tour, you’ll get to find out more about Yakut’s history and production process. Of course, what’s a Yakult tour without some Yakult? Before the tour, you’ll be treated to a complimentary Yakult drink. 

Note that due to hygiene purposes and to prevent contamination, visitors to the factory will only be able to view the factory processes through a glass panel. 10. Lights by the Lake

Get into the Mid-Autumn spirit with these gorgeous lantern displays at Jurong Lake Gardens! There will be 6 themed lantern installations in all: each showcasing key features of different countries like Singapore, Thailand, Italy, Malaysia and more.

These beautiful and IG-worthy lantern installations are created by professional lantern artisans, and are truly mesmerising to look at once night falls.
