1. Latiff Mohidin: Pago Pago
After his debut two years ago, Malaysian artist Latiff Mohidin’s groundbreaking exhibition Pago Pago makes its way back to the National Gallery. This exhibition traces a formative period in Mohidin’s practice during the 1950s and 1960s as he journeyed across Europe and Southeast Asia, and how travel has influenced modern art in the region. Visitors can look forward to over 80 artworks and writings, including a hand drawn map of Kampong Glam.

2. Four Horse Road
Watch history come alive and journey through heritage buildings on Waterloo Street. Organised by arts group The Theatre Practice, this epic theatrical adventure will allow the audience to take on different roles, from a bus passenger to simply an observer. In line with the Ministry of Health (MOH)’s regulations, no more than three groups will gather at the same space at any one time and adequate space is allocated to maintain at least a 1-metre distance between each audience member.

3. Earth Hour 2020: Live & Unplugged
This year, Earth Hour will continue to see lights out — except we’ll be bonded through a digital livestream now. Hosted by Paul Foster, Charmaine Yee and Angelique Teo, this livestream will showcase performances from local personalities such as Benjamin Kheng, Sezairi and Prettipls. 6. Understanding Greens – Botanicals & Foliage in Urban Sketching
Pick up the art of urban sketching with artist Sathyapriya Subramaniam. This workshop will focus exclusively on the concepts of sketching foliage and greenery, hopefully bust the myth that greens are often the most troublesome and overpowering colours. Learn how to mix greens with many variations, colour balance, how to use edges to create depth and more. All participants will receive high quality products that consist of a watercolour/gouache set, sketchbook/watercolour papers, watercolour brushes and mixing palette that can be brought home after the workshop.

7. Touch Me, Touch Me Not

9. Singapo人: Discovering Chinese Singaporean Culture

11. Sakura Matsuri: Tale of the Peach Boy

12. Ng Teng Fong Roof Garden Commission: Cao Fei
Take a walk up to National Gallery’s rooftop and admire not just the view but an exhibition by Cao Fei, one of China’s leading contemporary artists. Cao will be presenting Fu Cha, a large-scale kinetic sculpture installation that studies Asia’s history on migration and Singapore’s identity as a port city. This installation is also Cao’s first presentation for the new year before her exhibitions in London and Beijing.

16. Experience a fairytale with Disney: The Animation
