If you’re an avid follower of celebrities on social media, you’ve probably spotted the Insta-famous 29Rooms event splashed across the IG feeds of celebrities and musicians like Lizzo, Solange, Margot Robbie, RuPaul and more. Created by Refinery29 and VICE Media Group, the iconic 29Rooms funhouse is the the place to see and be seen for its highly-curated experiences by 29 visionary artists, creators and partners that are not only super ‘gram-worthy but also extremely thought-provoking.
If you’ve always wondered what it’s like to be at 29Rooms; boy, don’t we have news for you. For the first time in Asia, the cult-famous 29Rooms event will be making its debut right here in our little red dot! 29Rooms Asia will be held over a span of 10 weeks at Gardens by the bay from 1st February till 16th April 2023. 29Rooms has seen events in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and more, with each edition being entirely unique; Singapore’s 29Rooms will be no different, carrying the theme of “Lost & Found”.
Visitors to 29Rooms can look forward to 29 visually stunning and carefully designed immersive and thematic experiential spaces to explore (and take tons of OOTDs in); plus an ever-changing line-up of performances, installations and workshops that span over a wide range of themes like art, culture, fashion, beauty, music, F&B, wellness and more.
To put things into perspective, past rooms at overseas 29Rooms events include an interactive room where you get to pen down your frustrations and then proceed to shred it to pieces. There was also a station where you get to dress up and wear props to perfectly camouflage yourself into the abstract background for some whimsical and playful photo ops! Yet another room lets you experience an unconventional palm reading session where you stick your hand through a wall and get your fortune/fate read by a fellow visitor! If these fun and exciting rooms are anything to go by, we can’t wait to see what Singapore’s edition of 29Rooms will be like!
For the first time in 29Rooms history, they will also be launching the XRoom, where you’ll get to witness collaborations with some of the hottest and trendiest icons and tastemakers—who knows, you might even get to see a celebrity or two!
Super early bird bundle tickets are available at exclusive prices right now till 31st December 2022 for the 29Rooms weekend experience, with tickets for the weekday experience available from 1st January 2023 onwards. Standard price tickets are as follows:
