There are two types of people during Halloween: those who actively seek out haunted houses, and those who insist they’re not scared before grabbing their friend’s arm at the first jump scare.
Whichever type you are, you might want to think twice before stepping into Toy Factory 444.
Returning as part of Tampines 1’s seventh annual Halloween Scaretacular, this horror maze takes an innocent-sounding hunt for a rare bunny plushie and turns it into something considerably more sinister. The setting? An abandoned toy factory with dark secrets hidden behind its doors.
Forget finding the exit. Can you keep your cool long enough to find the clues?
Most haunted houses have a pretty straightforward formula: walk into a dark room, get startled by someone jumping out of nowhere, scream, then move on to the next room.
Toy Factory 444 throws a little more into the mix.
Instead of simply following a trail of scares, visitors will have to navigate the factory, uncover hidden clues and complete missions as they work their way through the story. You’ll need to pay attention to your surroundings, because the next clue could be waiting just around the corner — potentially with something else lurking nearby.
Of course, the live scare actors aren’t going anywhere. Expect unexpected encounters and unsettling moments that might have even the bravest person in your group suddenly rethinking their life choices.
With interactive missions, live scare actors and a story to work through, Toy Factory 444 gives your group more to do than simply shuffle through a haunted corridor.
The big question is whether you’ll be able to work together when things get unsettling — or whether everyone will suddenly decide that your survival is no longer their problem.
And just when you think the experience couldn’t get any more embarrassing, there’s a personalised reaction video to take home. Your screams, startled expressions and questionable survival instincts could all become part of the keepsake from your trip.
Consider it a souvenir, except one that might be brought up at every future gathering with your friends.

A different kind of hunt: Collect seven stickers and you could win a BYD ATTO 3
If running from scare actors isn’t quite your thing, there’s another challenge happening across Tampines 1 and Century Square — and the prize is considerably bigger than a souvenir.
From 16 October to 12 November 2026, the two malls will be running a cross-mall spend-and-win promotion, giving shoppers a chance to win a BYD ATTO 3 electric vehicle.
Here’s how it works: spend at least $50 across two transactions within seven days at participating FRx stores, with one receipt from Tampines 1 and another from Century Square, to qualify for one lucky dip.
Each lucky dip comes with a shopping voucher or sticker. The challenge? Be the first to collect all seven unique stickers to win the BYD ATTO 3.
So, if you’re already planning to shop around Tampines, this gives you another reason to make stops at both malls. Just remember that collecting the full set — and being the first to do so — is the real challenge.
When and where to experience Toy Factory 444
The maze takes over Tampines 1’s rooftop on selected dates this October, with sessions running from 7pm to 11pm. Last entry is at 10.30pm.
Shoppers can redeem two maze tickets with a minimum spend of $100, or four tickets with a minimum spend of $150, using up to three same-day receipts. Ticket redemptions are available from 25 September to 1 November 2026, subject to terms and availability.
Alternatively, tickets can be purchased at $10 each.
