Soon, you’ll be able to get all your Japanese beauty fix at Japan’s largest drug store chain, without even having to fly to Japan! The famous Matsumoto Kiyoshi, or “Matsukiyo” store chain will be opening very soon in JB.

Matsukiyo is known as Japan’s biggest drug store chain, with over 3000 stores in Japan and worldwide. The store carries a variety of beauty, wellness and lifestyle products including: skincare, makeup, health supplements, daily essentials, snacks and more. Some of the popular brands you might find include Canmake, Cezanne, Rohto, Kosé, Shiseido, Kanebo, Heroine Make, Hada Labo, FANCL and more.

The new Matsukiyo opening in JB will be the brand’s first-ever store in Malaysia. Matsukiyo will be opening at Toppen Shopping Centre, located about 20 minutes away from the checkpoint. The official opening date for the store has yet to be confirmed, but it’s slated to be open by December 2025.
