We know how excited you are about the possibility of a Pokémon theme park in Singapore; but while that is still a long way away—if it does get confirmed, that is—there’s one Pokémon park that’s actually real and opening very soon. We finally have a first look at the highly anticipated PokéPark Kanto in Tokyo Japan’s Yomiuriland Amusement Park, and this is what you can expect to see once it opens on 5th February 2026.

PokéPark Kanto is the world’s first permanent outdoor Pokémon facility, and it’s said to be almost like playing Pokémon GO in real life. There’s various immersive Pokémon-themed zones and activities fans can explore across the 2.6-hectare park: like a Pokémon Forest with realistic Pokémons you can touch, a realistic Sedge Town with themed shops like Pokémon Centre and Poké Mart, themed rides, F&B and more. Some of the food items you can expect include Onigiri, Charcoal Karaage, Pikachu Ice Bars, Popcorn and more.

Pokémon-themed rides include Pika Pika Paradise with over 30 electric-type Pokémon; as well as Vee Vee Voyage, a carousel ride featuring your favourite Pokémons. There will also be stage shows and parades held daily at the Sedge Gym and town square, where you’ll get to meet life-sized Pokémon mascots in person. There will also be official Pokémon merchandise like Carnival Pikachu and Eevee plushies, Pokémon Forest-themed apparel, Vee Vee Voyage-themed stationery and more. Tickets to the PokéPark start from 4,700 yen per person (~$38.60 SGD per person), and you can purchase them here
