First TCM-themed Ice Cream Bar in Singapore has Flavours Infused With Ginseng, & Hawthorn From $6 Each!

TCM-infused food and drinks seem to be having a moment in Singapore, and the latest addition to the fray: TCM ice cream. The popular TCM-specialty restaurant-bar, Synthesis, has recently launched a new TCM-inspired ice cream bar concept right outside the restaurant’s storefront.

The restaurant’s exterior entrance is known for its TCM medicine store-inspired decor: with old-school wooden cabinets. But instead of having various herbs displayed out front, the entrance has been transformed into an ice cream counter, where restaurant diners and walk-in customers can grab unique scoops of TCM-infused ice cream. Scoops start from $6 each for Classic flavours, and $7 each for Premium or Seasonal flavours.

You’ll be able to try one-of-kind ice cream flavours infused with various herbs and botanicals. Some flavours available include Soya Wheatgrass, Hawthorn Acai Berry, Chrysanthemum Tea with Candied Ginseng, Red Date Longan, Wintermelon Barley, Pu Er Longan, Orange Vanilla and more. They’ll also be switching up the seasonal ice cream flavours every 2 to 3 months. This TCM Ice Cream Bar concept is a permanent addition at Synthesis.
