COSY MUSLIM-OWNED BOARD GAME CAFÉ WITH AFFORDABLE PASTRIES FROM JUST $1.80!

Bana Bana Café is an underrated Muslim-owned board game café with super pocket-friendly pastries! The café used to be a takeaway joint but has since expanded to become a full-fledged café!

The café also has a board game area where you can hang out and play games such as Monopoly, Exploding Kitten, Saboteur, Cards Against Humanity and more. Fees to play board games at the café start from a friendly $6 per hour. The space also doubles up as a reading room and study/workspace that you can use for just $10, including free coffee/tea/canned drinks for the first hour ($6 for the subsequent hour without any order of food/drink). Free WiFi is also available.

Bana Bana Café’s menu is inspired by Asian cuisine fused with European, Western, Arabic and Mexican influences. Here you’ll find substantial mains like bowls, pasta, fried rice, snacks, pastries, as well as milkshakes, specialty coffee, tea and more. Highlights from Bana Bana has got to be their super affordable pastries that go from just $1.80; the pastries are made fresh in-house and vary day by day. Expect the likes of Apple Turnover ($1.80), Mini Choco Twist ($1.80), Mini Danish ($1.80), Cheese Scone ($2.80) and Cinnamon Rolls ($4), just to name a few.
