There’s a couple of famous food chains coming to Singapore: Pierre Hermé, Standard Bakery, and Sides—and here’s another famous brand to add to the list. Popular Aussie-based gelato chain, Gelato Messina, is also making its debut in Singapore by this April 2025!

If you’ve been to Sydney or Melbourne, chances are you’ve probably seen (and tried) Gelato Messina; they’re one of the most popular and cult-favourite gelato chains there. The brand is so well loved, even pop singer Dua Lipa has been spotted enjoying a cone from there; and they’ve also been featured many times on TV shows like MasterChef.

Gelato Messina will be opening its first-ever outlet here in Singapore by late April 2025 in the Chinatown area. They’re known for their extensive selection of 40 gelato flavours, 35 of which are mainstays on the menu. The gelatos and toppings are all made from scratch, with unique flavour names like Robert Blondie Jr., Sticken To My Date, You Make Me Unicorny and more.
