If you’re partial to Korean chicken, listen up: the famed grilled chicken restaurant, Song Gye Ok, is opening their very first-ever outlet right here in Singapore. The popular grilled chicken KBBQ spot has several outlets around Seoul, known for their snaking queues, even in the rain. They’ve even been patronised by Korean celebrities like Song Kang from Netflix’s Sweet Home and My Demon, Sandara Park from 2NE1 and more.

Instead of the usual KBBQ offerings like beef or pork, Song Gye Ok specialises in chicken, especially unique or unconventional cuts of chicken—like the neck, heart, cartilage, tenders and side ribs. For those who don’t like innards, you can also order regular chicken cuts like wings and thigh, all of which will be grilled to perfection.

Aside from grilled chicken, they also offer signature truffle samgyetang and garlic fried rice; along with other menu items like grilled rice balls, herbal kalguksu, chicken shabu shabu, spicy mixed noodles and more. The restaurant serves different menu items for lunch and dinner, and you can view their menu here. This opening marks Song Gye Ok’s first-ever international outlet, and they’ll be open to the public from 5th June 2025 onwards.
