Korean bakes are on a whole other level, and you’ll soon be able to chomp on some unique luxury bakes direct from the source at the upcoming Korean Bakery Pop-Up event hosted by none other than Market Blue!

The pop-up will be held at Tanglin Mall’s atrium, and will feature some of Korea’s most popular and award-winning bakery brands: Suhyeongdang and Daegubbang, both of which hail from Daegu, a region known for their delectable “luxury” bread and pastries.

Suhyeongdang is known for realistic fruit and vegetable-shaped breads that look just like the real thing—especially their novel apple-shaped bread that looks and is packaged like real apples! They even wrap the bread with a protective foam mesh and pack them in carton boxes; the look so realistic you might even mistake them for actual apples!

Daegubbang, or Geundae Golmok Danpatppang, is famed for their fluffy cream-filled buns in various unique flavours. Think delightful stuffed buns with mochi red bean, whipped cream, cheese latte and more! They’re also almond bread, peanut cream bread and sticky sweet potato bread!

There’s plenty more one-of-a-kind Korean bread creations to indulge in at the pop-up with some 55 different breads up for grabs, and you’ll just have to test them all out for yourself when it arrives this August 2023! The Korean Bakery Pop-Up will be held at Tanglin Mall’s B1 Atrium for a limited time only, from 24th to 29th August 2023, so mark your calendars!
