FIRST-EVER MEGA 5-LITRE XXL MATCHA LATTE AT THIS CRAYON SHINCHAN-THEMED CAFÉ POP-UP IN SINGAPORE!

The highly-anticipated Crayon Shinchan-themed café pop-up is finally here, and we got an exclusive first look at the cheeky menu! Think jiggly butt-shaped puddings, butt-shaped rice dishes and even massive 5-litre matcha drinks!

The pop-up is by popular and award-winning halal eatery Wong Fu Fu, known for their unique menu creations and exciting character tie-ups. The latest collaboration spotlights the playful and lovable Crayon Shinchan, with quirky menu items like mains, snacks and desserts. Food items start from $5.50, with mains priced from $19.90.

Japanese Seafood Curry Rice, $23.90

Signature Mini Bowls, $20.90

Japanese Chicken Katsu Burger, $19.90

Shinchan fans will definitely want to try the Japanese Seafood Curry Rice ($23.90), featuring rice made to look just like Shinchan’s iconic butt. If you can’t decide on just one main, go for the Signature Mini Bowls ($20.90), with 3 different Taiwanese-inspired tasting bowls: Signature Scallion Braised Beef Noodles (Dry), Torched smoked duck with Taiwan pearl fried rice & ramen egg and 2 golden fried mid wings.

Tater Tots with Taiwan Mochi Balls, $13.90

Piak! Piak! Shinchan Butt Japanese Parfait, $12.90

They’ve also got an assortment of fried snacks you can pick from, each served in a collectible limited-edition Shinchan Chocobi box that you can take home. Snack boxes are priced from $11.90 each, with options like Cheese Stick with Mayo Dip ($12.90), Tater Tots with Taiwan Mochi Balls ($13.90), Truffle Fries with Truffle Mayo Dip ($14.90) and more. The desserts are definitely not to be missed either, especially the Piak! Piak! Shinchan Butt Japanese Parfait ($12.90), starring a jiggly custard pudding shaped like Shinchan’s butt!

Mega 5-Litre Matcha Latte, $59.90

Matcha lovers will be most excited for their matcha drink offerings, especially their whopping 5-litre matcha lattes—the first and only in Singapore! The mega XXL-sized matcha lattes come in 2 flavour options: Original Mega 5-Litre Matcha Latte ($59.90) and Mega Strawberry 5-Litre Matcha Latte ($69.90). They only use premium matcha powder from Niko Neko, and each Mega matcha has 80g of matcha. We liked that the matcha was rich enough and creamy, with a well-balanced flavour that’s not overly sweet or bitter.

Iced Matcha Latte, $9.90

Banana Pudding, $6.90

If you’re not up for the 5-litre matcha challenge, they also have regular-sized matcha lattes for $9.90, served in Shinchan character mugs. You can even add on the viral Banana Pudding ($6.90) for dessert, or as toppings for your matcha latte too.

The café space is decorated with various Shinchan items and cushions, and you can even pick up some Crayon Shinchan merch items from $7.90: including blind boxes, keychains, mugs and pouches. Food wise—the menu isn’t too mind blowing, with familiar-tasting flavours that are similar to Wong Fu Fu’s other themed concepts. Though we must say, the presentation is pretty fun and sure to get some laughs, especially the signature items shaped like Shinchan’s butt. The Crayon Shinchan café pop-up will be open from 19th June 2025 for a period of 2 months, and reservations are highly recommended here
