Hot off the heels of their viral airplane-themed photo studio, the folks at Solace Studios aren’t stopping anytime soon, and they’re opening another photo studio in town, this time with a familiar MRT theme!
You won’t need your EZ-Link cards to tap into the new Solace Station, located at Orchard Gateway and opening on 20th April 2024. The photo studio is modelled after our very own MRT trains, with “fare gates” at the entrance and various photo booths with actual train “sliding doors” too!
There’s a total of 5 different photo booths to choose from, each with a unique vibe/theme:
- Grey Classic Booth
- High Angle Train Cabin
- Train Door Cabin
- Fisheye Lens Train Cabin
- White Cabin Booth
Look out for cool train-inspired details like handrails, seats (including “Priority Seating”), a “Fake Emergency Exit” , station “maps”, platform signages and even tactile paving on the floors just like you would see at the actual MRT stations! As usual, there will also be various props available that you can use when snapping your shots.
Prices for Solace Station’s photo booths are as follows:
Classic Booth (Photo Strips) – $10 for two
Classic Booth (Multi Frame) – $10 per piece
Train Cabin (Photo Strips) – $12 for two
Train Cabin (Multi Frame) – $12 per piece
Additional physical printouts are available at $2 per piece, and digital files/GIFs are free.
