Kumoya is undoubtedly the expert on themed cafés, as seen from their previous Spongebob and My Little Pony Pop-up Cafés. Following the success and popularity of their other pop-up cafés, Kumoya has done it yet again: this time with an adorable and whimsical pop-up café featuring the lovable Cinnamoroll!
The beloved Sanrio character celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and what better way to commemorate than with specially commissioned decor and lovingly curated Cinnamoroll-themed menu items? There’s also a retail corner where you can shop some exclusive Cinnamoroll merchandise and play with the claw machine!
The Kumoya x Cinnamoroll Pop-up Café is located at Orchard Central, and the café’s walls, furniture and fixtures are all decked in pretty baby blue Cinnamoroll-themed wallpaper, with whimsical clouds dangling from the ceiling—giving the space a super dreamy feel. In true Kumoya fashion, expect plenty of IG-worthy photo ops featuring your favourite Sanrio character, as well as fluffy Cinnamoroll plushies for you to play with!
As usual the menu is lovingly curated by the famed Shirley Wong (@littlemissbento) and features adorable and intricate details like rice shaped like Cinnamoroll himself, Cinnamoroll buns, clouds and stars and more! While food and drinks on the menu are a little pricier ($11.90-$28.90) compared to your typical café fare, you’re definitely paying for the unique experience and novelty; plus, the food looks too cute not to love!

Note that a minimum food order of 1 food item per person is required. The Kumoya x Cinnamoroll menu is not halal-certified, but they do not contain any pork, lard or alcohol.
Cinnamoroll fans will definitely love the space, and the café is also great for family gatherings as there’s something for both adults and kids to enjoy. The Kumoya x Cinnamoroll Pop-up Café at Orchard Central will be open to the public from 19th August 2022 onwards, for a limited time only. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can make a reservation here.
