Topics regarding mental health like anxiety and depression used to be deemed as taboo, but now that society is more open to talk about such things, it’s time we start learning and educating ourselves about them too!
And for the uninitiated, here is one way to learn more about anxiety in a more approachable and digestible manner. In tandem with the release of the 6th issue of EYEYAH!, titled “Anxiety”, EYEYAH! has also partnered with Kult Kafe to come up with a unique anxiety-themed pop-up exhibition!
This free and family-friendly exhibition features over 20 artworks and animations from contributing artists and designers in Singapore and overseas, all exploring the theme of ‘anxiety’ through multiple perspectives. The exhibition aims to encourage the use of creativity especially in challenging times, and to show visitors what anxiety looks and feels like, it causes, types of anxiety, ways to overcome anxiety and more.
This unique anxiety-themed exhibition will be open to the public from now till 21st May 2022. In addition, visitors to the exhibition can also snag a free copy of the EYEYAH! magazine (worth $20), while stocks last.
